The Ecosystem: support grows for social impact start-ups

London Social Venture Director, Amir Rizwan, spoke with Science|Business about the start of its work in London to grow social ventures coming out of universities with the article also drawing parallels with a newly launched alliance of German start-up centres supporting social enterprises. 

In this article Amir spoke about the rising demand from London’s university community for this work and the ways in which London Social Ventures was looking to test a number of new approaches including a venture programme and ways in which to connect social ventures to customers from the public sector. Alongside this the project is looking to also develop the ecosystem of support for social ventures in London, in particular through collaboration with companies
